Working as a management consultant providing technology and strategy consulting services to my clients. I work in a fast-paced department, requiring me to learn constantly and adapt to the ever-changing technological landscape.

During my time here, I have tackled proposal pitching, project management and solution implementation, which have strengthened both my client skills and my problem-solving skills. I have gained extensive experience in 3 major fields: Machine learning, Robotic Process Automation, and Cloud Computing. My clients include worldwide insurers, global banks, and the public sector.

Data Analytics

• Data Analytic for IFRS compliance for an international medical aesthetic chain

  • Used R and python to analyse over 800,000 sales data across 3 years to build a forward-looking Expected Credit Loss Model.

  • Used a Random Forest algorithm to discover 10 features that contributed the most in predicting for expected credit loss.

  • Presented and explained our analysis on the expected credit loss and the consumption patterns to the stakeholders.

Robotic Process Automation

• Setting up an RPA CoE for a major Japanese bank

  • Developed a framework that standardises the development, deployment and governance of the RPA robots.

  • Automated 5 suitable processes with UiPath to be used as a PoC to showcase the capability of RPA.

  • Translated Japanese technological documentations and data governance policies into English.

• Driving an Automation Initiative for one of the largest non-profit organisations

  • Designed and developed a methodology of automating processes on mobile devices (Android, iOS)

  • Spearheaded the initiative to enhance RPA with Cognitive technology and Cloud computing.

  • Automated 13 processes in vb.net and python which resulted in a reduction of over 3,200 man-hours per year.

• Business Transformation with RPA for a global insurer

  • Analysed 40+ business process of their HR, Finance, and IT departments and proposed leaner workflows involving RPA.

  • Automated processes concerning new hire on-boarding, debt collection and proposal generation processes.

  • Provided a benefit analysis to highlight the reduced time and financial costs, eliminated human error, and improved internal reporting.

Financial Technology

• Virtual Bank License Application for Financial Institutions

  • Developed business plans and put together pitch decks used by our clients in their presentation to HKMA.

  • Compile all the required documents for the application including core banking system implementation plan, AML and KYC procedures, and IT security policies.

• Conduct research on the landscape of E-payment for a large non-profit organisation

  • Provided a comprehensive view of the developments of E-payment to the stakeholders.

  • Conducted case studies of E-payment app and FinTech innovations.

  • Make a recommendation based on our research on which E-payment channel the organisation should adopt.
